Bacon-Wrapped Chili Stick Recipe

This bacon-wrapped chili recipe is just a made-even-better version of the Filipino favorite finger food and street food dynamite chili. The original dynamite is a simple finger chili or siling haba stuffed with cheese strips and other ingredients such as pork and then wrapped in lumpia wrappers. This is cook in deep fried until golden brown and crisp and served with dipping sauce. However, there are more varieties of cooking this awesome finger food. Like this recipe we had here that is bacon-wrapped chili sticks that basically uses bacon instead of the lumpia wrapper. This recipe is so simple and easy, yet so delicious. Using only few ingredients such as sili, bacon, cheese and cooking oil, you can make yourself this finger licking good dish. Serve it with your favorite dipping sauce to enjoy it more.

How To Cook Bacon-Wrapped Chili Stick:

  1. Pre-heat oil in a pan.
  2. Arrange sili pang-sigang, put cheese inside, and wrapped with bacon. Secure it with a toothpick. Repeat until done.
  3. Fry the chilis and wait until the bacon turns brown and crispy.
  4. Serve with the dip sauce.
